Nick Morrison
Professional Bassist/Educator
Nick has performed, recorded, and been mentored by legendary jazz trumpeter Clark Terry. He has played alongside jazz guitarist and Steeplechase recording artist Craig Brann for over 20 years with seven albums to date. Additionally, he has recorded and shared the stage with many of the world's greatest musicians including drummers Rudy Royston, Mark Guiliana, and Josh Dion, singer/songwriters Robbie Gil and Jeff Taylor, saxophonists Greg Tardy and Mark Turner, and trumpeters John Raymond and Freddie Hendrix. Nick has amassed a very large following on social media with over 100,000 followers Instagram and 120,000 followers on Tiktok with millions of views. Nick has found his audience through presenting his knowledge, enthusiasm, and love of bass playing to multitudes of people across the world. Nick has over 25 years teaching experience, and has helped hundreds of students obtain goals that support a lifelong love of playing music.
Lesson Policies
Instructor: Nick Morrison Package: One (1) Private Online Zoom Lesson Lesson Length: 60 minutes 1. Purpose of Agreement This agreement outlines the terms and expectations for one (1) private online lesson provided by Nick Morrison to the student named above. 2. Lesson Format & Scheduling The lesson will be conducted online via Zoom. The lesson will be 60 minutes in length. The lesson will be scheduled via email or text between the student and instructor. The lesson will occur on a mutually agreed-upon date and time. 3. Fees Cost of lesson: $100 Payment is required in full before the scheduled lesson. 4. Rescheduling & Cancellations The lesson cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time. Any cancellation or reschedule request made within 24 hours may be charged as a completed lesson. If the instructor must reschedule, the student will be notified as early as possible and the lesson will be rescheduled at no cost. 5. Missed Lesson / No-Show A no-show (student absent with no communication) is billed as a full lesson. If the instructor is unexpectedly unable to attend, the lesson will be rescheduled at the earliest mutually convenient time. 6. Student Responsibilities Arrive on time and prepared. Ensure a working internet connection, Zoom access, and necessary equipment. Communicate any issues or concerns promptly. 7. Instructor Responsibilities Provide high-quality, personalized instruction. Arrive on time and prepared. Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment. 8. Refund Policy Refunds are issued only if the lesson is unused and must be requested in writing. Completed or missed lessons are non-refundable.
